I feel sorry that I have to leve the game being so close to start action with LADA and ALFA, my eyes where closing constantly. I even forgot to lower masts (esm, snorkel, periscope) before going deeper, I noticed it at about 200ft without any dammage : ) This is a bug in mp.
South route is very long specially for slow sub like Amethyste, also it is not possible to run at flank being so close to the trap, else you will fall in it and the trap will close on you...
Next time I would like to be a bit more SE, so I earn one hour of navigation to both South and central entrance. Also in future scenarios it will be nice to be in open waters, something like part of a task group. Both task group know location of each other but are still a bit far to start the attack as there are neutral ship on both sides that can not be dammaged, still the war will be enevitable : ) The aim of curse will be to start war after max one hour of game. For this kind of scenarios no AI allowed to avoid havoc missile lunching from early start of the game.
It was so nice to see many participants and this makes me feel more sorry to have been so tired to continue. How long did the game last ?
What did you think about new communication rule, did you find it harder to play : )
It is ok that it was first time with RA mod v1.1, pls make all test before big games so we can start on time on D day.
Kind regards,
Lau |

The session ran very smoothly on my side. I haven't noticed any particular bugs or strange effects. Even missile salvos couldn't ruin the game.
I think the torpedoes react to decoys in a new way - I wasn't able to employ them effectively against the AI SSK despite successive resteer commands. And there was no MF sonar on the old 688 :(
What killed both BLUE FFGs yesterday? I was getting "loud explosion" messages continuously for a couple of minutes - it sounded like tens of mines hitting the hulls.
Dobedoo did a great job engaging the FFGs! |

great game, suspense about 2 hours and what a superb teamplay in my team.
that was matrose on my periscope (in back).
and thanks to all for the aknowledgement of my effort in this game.
Cyclop: i had a tracker on a ship grounding on surface at the shore of coordinates b7 some minute(s). so "explosions report" but no severe damage. truth 70%, lol.
great scenario grindler. |
