Ron / Matrose,

Thank you for showing up on time and for hosting this game, my first MP edited mission : RED OCTOBER!

I am quite happy about the time frame and interactions between AI platforms, all in all we always kept busy during the game.

Mission name : RED OCTOBER by Lau (based on the movie events)

Objective :
Red October wants to defect to W, Red must find and sink Red October before it reaches the US safe zone. US need to find and protect Red October till it gets to the US safe zone.

Events

Lau -detect Alfa and link report hes position to Matrose
To avoid waisting time I proceed to the Canyon and intercept Red October
Matrose -shoot the Tupolev
Matrose -loose contact with Alfa
Ron -Red October passes undetected near the Akula II
Lau -detects Typhoon and link report hes position to Matrose so he protect the Typhoon while I hunt Ron
Matrose -proceeds to intercept Red October, after intercepting Red October he makes a 180 deg turn living hes back un protected.
Ron fires surface missiles and they all hit Matrose
Ron fires one torpedo at Red October
Red October do an evasive manouver and fire counter mesures
Servers goes down !!
It is not possible to acertain that Ron toropedoe will hit the Typhoon, by the look of things it is going for the contermesure.

Unfortunately we where not able to finish the game as the server went down.

It is very funny to see how close the subs can get without detecting each other : )
